I'm assuming, yes. I see the 13K is scheduled for 10/25/08.

I don't see it online as of yet. However, it is listed in an email I received from Disney Sports and on the back of the marathon event guide and schedule.

DH ran the 13k last year - unless you absolutely can't run the 13k, he'd recommend that over the 6.5k. If you look for some posts re: the 2007 race, you'll see why - 6.5 has no mile markers, you miss the majority of the 'theming', etc.

My son and I did the TOT in Oct to prepare for the 1/2 last Saturday. At the expo we saw the Disney event table and they had the TOT medal. I asked the rep there were they doing that race again and would they improve on the organization! Parking!!!

The good news is they will do the 13k but he said they would not have the 6.5. He did not say why, but my assumption was that there were a lot of complaints from the faster 13kers about the slower 6.5kers. DW and DSGF did the 6.5 and had a good time. GF wants to do the 09 1/2 with son and me, so I bet she will do the 13k with us.

It's ok about the 6.5, I'm starting to think I'd rather doing the 13k, it looks more fun :cool1:

If you look at http://www.mydisneymarathon.com/ and click on "Save the date" , they only list the 13K on 10/25/08. With Disney, that means nothing:confused3
