discount at deluxe for Fl residents

Hey everybody, I would like to plan a trip this fall at one of the deluxe resorts for three or four nights. I'm not finding where any code discounts exist anymore for Fl residents on deluxe resorts. I just want to confirm that before I book reservations at rack rate and see if there are any other suggestions on saving money by booking a no frills package at one of these resorts. I'm assuming that in the long run it will be cheaper for us to book a room only package vs. a magic your way package since I don't need a bunch of park hopper passes, dining plan, or other extras. I just want to make sure that sounds like the best plan because it can be confusing. We have stayed at pop, Ft Wilderness, and offsite, but I just want to make sure I'm getting us the best deal if there is such a thing for a deluxe. Thanks. :hippie:

Not aware of any Florida room-only that far out yet, just the pin one so far. There's currently a public Florida room-only discount through mid-March '08 and it does include deluxes (we've only been following the deluxe we'll be at, but assume all are covered).

It'll probably be a little while before you see a Florida Fall '08 as they haven't even offered AP rates for sooner dates (assuming they do offer those), but I'd be optimistic.

You may want to check on AAA rates, before you book. You should save 10% - 15% for a Deluxe room only in the fall. You can check rates and availability on line or by calling Disney. It may or may not be worth your while. I use mine for food discounts at Universal, too.

Thanks for the tips. I don't have AP or AAA so those aren't really relevant to us. I guess my conflict is waiting to book a room under the assumption that there will be a discount and availability where I want to book at that time. Sounds a little risky to me.
