Vero Question

I just found out that the cottages at Vero don't have a bathroom on the second floor. We are going with 2 people who can walk steps but not very easily. Does anyone have a idea where I can rent a potty that we can put upstairs? I know it won't be private but when you have to go downstairs to the bathroom, it may not matter. This may sound like a strange request. With older family members, those stairs when you have to go can be a problem. Do you think Disney can help? Thanks for the ideas.

It doesn't sound like something that would work out very well. Have you thought of a two bedroom + a studio instead?

First check with Member services. I would think VB provides the same service for disabilities as does the DVC resorts at WDW does. You want to post on the disAbilities board. I am also suprised none of the units are handicapped accessible.

As the upstair of the Beach Cottages at Vero consists of the openplan kitchen and living area, IMHO a potty isn't really a viable option as there would be no privacy. IMHO you'd be better looking at the other units on offer that are all on one level.
