may crowds ?

I'll be visiting in may I think there is a holiday ( around 25th ) if you had the choice & base on your experiences will the sat be too crowded for parks should I plan something else that day like a guided tour hollywood .....?
I am in my planning stage so feel free to give me your ideas :thumbsup2
