We are interested in visiting the aquariums and the casino -- no interest in the pools/water slides and other water activities. What's the best and most economical way to do this?

There is no admission charge to play in the casino (although you must be 18 to play or observe). There is a day-pass for The Dig. I believe it also provides access to the aquariums, but I'm not sure. The price for this is about $25/pp.

Dave ... what exactly is the "Dig". I'm familiar with the aquarium, but not the dig. Also, can you walk around resort without having to pay?

We went to Atlantis on our January cruise and loved it. We took a cab $4.oo pp each way. You are free to dine. shop, and use the casino. We were allowed limited roaming outside. Atlantis has a great web site at www.atlantis.com It tells you all about the dig and other resort information. My husband won over $350.00 at the casino. We can't wait to go back in October. Great pictures thanks for sharing. We plan on doing the same thing when we go in May - take a cab over and do Atlantis on our own. I do have one question for you - did you see any kind of dress code they were looking for in the casino. I read someplace (not sure if it was on this board or elsewhere) that they don't like shorts/t-shirts in the casino. Not sure if this is only for the evening or during the day as well. I visited a Paradise Island casino years ago (well before Atlantis) and we were in shorts and t-shirts with no problem.

Glad you liked my picture's. The dress code is for night. During the day we saw people in the casino in shorts. My husband wore jeans. We also ate lunch at Atlantis, it was expensive for what we had. It was like $14.oo for a hamburger and fries. We spent about 5 hours at Atlantis shopping, dining, casino, and looking around.
