Drink mug question [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

We have our drink mugs from our trip in 1999. I was told these mugs can be brought back to any Dis. resort on future vacations. The lady from AAA said she never heard of such a thing. Anybody actually had the experience? Thank you.

Well, you can take it back to the same resort, or a sister resort, but not any other resort.

For example, an All Star Sports mug could be used at All Star Music or All Star Movies, but not Caribbean Beach.

A Port Orleans Riverside mug could be used at Port Orleans French Quarter, but not the All Stars.

You can use them at that resort. We have some old Dixie Landing's and we will bring them on our trip in Aug. to POR. Since it is the same resort just a name change. But you can not use them at any resort, just where you got them.

Just to let everyone know we used our old Dixie Landing mugs at POR and did not have a problem.There were plenty of people using the old mugs!!

When I called POR and asked if I could use DL mugs Andre said for sure! Then when we were there last week LOTS of people were using the old ones. You can bring then back to the same resort for life just not a different resort.

I was just their 2/27 at the POR and people had the old dixie landings mug the yellow one and thats really old. :)
