Ok, excuse my questions if they seem dumb, but when people on here say they are on the DDP, do they mean Deluxe dining plan, or Disney dining plan? Just wondering because I am trying to get ideas on what to do. I have a trip coming up in May and we are on the basic plan. I have all our dinners reserved. I was planning on doing the CS for lunch, and just having pop tarts or cereal for breakfast for us. We do have one breakfast reserved with the princesses.

My other question is, can you use the CS for breakfast? My husband just informed me that he would rather have a bigger breakfast and do a snack lunch on some days. Can you do this? I didn't know if the CS was just for lunch or dinner, I thought I read that somewhere. Wondering if I should upgrade to the deluxe plan.

I believe DDP means the regular dining plan.

You may use your CS for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. (Remember though, that breakfasts cost less, so may not give you as much value as using the credit for lunch or dinner.)

We just came back, and mostly did as you have planned: have a pop tart or cereal for breakfast, a CS lunch, and a TS dinner. No one was ever hungry!

Usally DDP is Basic dinning plan
AND DxDDP or DDDP is Delux dinning plan

We are also on the basic DDP and plan to do as you said but i think some days i much run down to the counter service in our room and use 2 CS credits to get breakfast platters to split between all of us if the cold b'fasts get old. But none of use are very big b'fast eaters so that's why we plan to eat small in the morning probably sit for CS lunch around 11:00 then all our ADR are about 4:30-5:30 so early then we will end up using our snack credits for the evenings...

Ok, thanks. I think I'll just keep it as it is. We can flip flop the CS for lunch or breakfast depending on what people want that day. Thanks a lot.
