Just lost my wonderful father

Hi. I probably should have requested prayer a long time ago, but things have progressed too quickly. I just lost my wonderful father yesterday morning to renal carcinoma that spread to his liver, abdomen and lungs. I am so thankful for the time we had with him and that his passing was peaceful. Anyhow, if you feel so led, please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!

I was sorry to read this and hope that you taking comfort in that you got to spend time with him and that it was peaceful for him. For those of you who have lost a loved one, be it a parent, husband, sibling...I am so sorry...

For those of us who are living with a loved one with a terminal illness.. remember this keep the faith and live it one day at a time going for the moment..

Recently, someone said to me that her Mom's doctor said to the Mom.. Carpe Diem, seize the day.... She said that the Mom was talking to a family member, not sure what was being said... but she responded with I am going to hang up now as you are taking time from my Diem..... I thought it was a great story..
