We just got off the Magic yesterday and had a fantastic time, the only problem is that when I started to clean out my travel pocketbook back to my regular pocketbook I found my room stewards tip enevelope. My heart sank. Sunny had done such a fantastic job, I would hate to have her think we stiffed her. I remember putting all the envelopes in my bag and gave out the three in the dining room, meaning to place the envelope on our bed when we were out that night (in the midst of packing and having my three teens arguing did not help my concentration)

On top of that, there was an intoxicated guest in the room across the hall and it got pretty crazy for awhile. My daughter had to call security because one guest was threatening to kill another guest...Yep. One of the involved guests ran out of her stateroom and begged my daughter to call security to settle the argument. Disney security was all over the hallway and in the excitement I forgot leave it.

Does anyone know how to mail something to the crew. Can it even be done? I feel horrible about this and want to make it right. Any suggestions? Thanks.

MJ

I would call. I'll bet they would be happy to take your CC# or debit card # and forward it to Sunny. They would probably also give you her address if you wanted to send her a card telling her what happened. Was she by any chance from Coatia? We had a cabin hostess in 1999 named Sunny. She was wonderful.

The very same thing happened to us - I actually packed my room steward's tip envelope.

I frantically called DCL direct and asked them what to do. They gave me an address in Celebration, FL (if I remember correctly) to write to. I explained what happened, gave all the details of the cruise, my cabin number, and room steward's name. I enclosed the tip envelope and a nice letter to my room steward apologizing to him and asked if they would please forward it. I received a very nice letter a few weeks later saying that they did indeed get my letter and tip envelope to our room steward.

Thank you so much for your replies....I will call DCL and find out about forwarding the tip to Sunny.

And Yes, Sunny is from Croatia. She was wonderful. This was her first cruise back after a six month absence (family problem). I know her full name is Sunica Settener. I plan on writing a nice letter along with the tip.
