Is it possible to purchase a balloon on the ship that will say Happy Birthday? My husband will turn 41 while we are onboard and the kids want to surprise him with some type of celebration.

Thank you.

Have the b-day noted on your reservation and then check with your server on the first night, and they should be able to bring you a small b-day cake at desert. You can also order larger more elaborate cakes ahead of time (for a few extra bucks).

I don't recall seeing anyplace to get balloons.

Another option is to order fro a Perfect Gift www.theperfectgift.cc
Shirley did a wonderful basket for my DH on our last cruise. Compleat with balloon, chocolates, his favorite beer, and a nice card. It was very reasonable and it was waiting in the cabin or our arrival. You might be able to have it delivered to Guest Services and have them hold it until his birthday.

I inquired about balloons for my daughters bday on the ship....
DCL told me that balloons were not allowed on the ship for safety....she said something about the ocean...I assume it is for
the sake of choking a fish or something...

Thank you for all of your help. I will order a birthday basket to be delivered. That will be a big surprise.

They did allow a balloon on for hubby for his anniversary basket, which we ordered from Perfect Gift ( you can see a photo on my website at www.***************** ). We kept it in the room during our trip and left it for disposal by the stateroom host when we disembarked, as we figured they might think we were nuts if we tried to bring it on the plane!
