Hope you had a great time! We love Vero. We've never gone in January; how was the weather?

We love Vero too, and I just want to know if you thought going in January is something you would do again. What sort of things did you do? We were in Florida, mostly Tampa Bay area from Jan. 2nd to 6th, and managed to do lots
of sightseeing, like going to the Ringling Museum, even with the cold weather. However, if we had planned for it to be a swimming vacation, we would have been disappointed.

Weather was great. 78 -80 every day. Above normal which was good. It rained twice but that was at night.

:yay: What room did you have and did you like your location? How was the view. We have a 2 BR for March and wanted to make a request, what would you recommend? Did you go to any restaraunts that you recommend? Any input would be greatly appreciated as this will be our first time there.
Thanks!

We stayed in 1731 which was on the second floor beside the mini golf area. Most 2 bedrooms do not have ocean views due to the location and all of the mature landscaping. There are 2 restaurants on site as well as a poolside snack bar and a lounge. We ate in the lounge and snack bar. The food at both was good. Keep in mind there is not much around the resort. It is actually located on Orchid Island. The resort is very nice. Are you taking kids?

Hey holdem,
Glad you had a good trip. Thanks for passing on the info (another thread) about the wireless coming to all rooms in the spring. That makes me real happy.
A question though. I thought the building next to the mini golf was 14. And I thought the room numbers took on the building number. Do you recall if the building number was 17? Maybe they have made some numbering changes.
I'm no lisareniff when it comes to VB logistics. Just curious.

Thanks for the info Holdem. Yes, there will be 5 kids...3 teenagers and 2 11 year olds. Are any of the units ground floor? I'm not fond of ground floor units and would prefer an upper level.

The buildings are 3 stories high. The third floor may have the best views. What type of things do your kids like to do? There really is nothing around the resort.
