Need advice from the people in the know I desperately want to get my flights booked for December I can book with BA today for the price of £415.00 per adult and £369.00( 12th December - 2ns January ) virgin flights have not been released yet I know this is a big questions but does any one know ruffly what price I could expect from virgin normal fare plus miles plus money or should I bit the bullet and book the BA flights please help :confused
Well after phoning around for information toady we have decided to book with BA as they where a good price and I was told at virgin that the flights for December 12TH would start at around £500.00 so all booked and payed for and know let the count down begin to my three weeks at my second home

We're looking for flights for the 20th dec-2nd Jan but are going to wait till all the flights are released. BA's price is cheaper than virgins fly drive flight prices, but im going to look around mid-week and see.

I am sure I answered this in your last thread but depending on price increase and when you book depends on the price.I didn't look till september last year for a rough idea going on last years prices and they varied from £429-£369 without miles and from£369 -£289 with m+m but it depends on your dates etc.Going over the christmas and new year period I can understand you are anxious to book especially the return flight as I guess this will be very popular. We are going on the 11th from manchester and returning xmas eve after advice from on here I am not booking till nearer the time unless they are a good price when they first come out.The m+m won't be out for a while after they release the flight prices though.I am sure someone can tell you when m+m will come out roughly.Good luck and try not to worry. You will get booked.

BA online is often a month in advance of Virgin, for 2008 flights I tracked BA and Virgin prices, nearly all the time BA was cheaper, in Club world vs Upper class it was over £500 cheaper for me.

I booked 2 adults and 1 child on Virgin last year from 8th to 27th December. PE on the way out and economy on the way back. £1300 in total, no m&m. I booked in July. I too am waiting for flights to come out again for 6th to 27th December and hoping to use m&m to go PE both ways (I loved sitting upstairs). I remember last year they had a sale in March.
