Anyone book deluxe resort in Dec. on points?

I've read a lot of posts about booking DVC resorts at the 11-month and 7-month windows for December trips. How about booking a deluxe resort at the 7-month window for a deluxe resort, such as the Contemporary, GF, or Poly? (Yes, we will be using our DVC points and we will book at our home DVC resort 11-months out to play it safe.) Basically I'm just crossing my fingers to read that this type of vacation is feasible. Thanks! :)

Why are you waiting for the 7 month booking window to book, say the Contemporary? You can book the Disney Collection 11 months out.

The booking fee for the Disney Collection is now $95, as of 2008.

Oh wow- I somehow had this notion that the Disney collection couldn't be booked 11-months out. Thanks! We will try our luck at the end of this month.
