gotta love this about universal

no wasted time transporting between, parks and city walk. at disney, it is at least a half hour to get anywhere, and could be up to an hour to park hop and resort hop, or egads, go from downtown disney to anywhere. at universal, i just walk over to the next place i want to visit and go right on vacationing. i love disney, but all the riding around is very annoying and a huge waste of time. with everything at universal right at your fingertips, it sure is convenient.

This is the same situation at DLR, remember WDW doesn't represent the end all and be all of Disney.

I concur kirbsam, that is one of our favorite things about staying and playing at Universal. Not to mention front of the line pass - it's like a winning the year of a million dreams fastpass every day! :banana: I can't wait to visit DLR someday, but for now I am loving the Universal perks.

That's why we like it so much too and much prefer Disneyland/California Adventure over Disney World.

I agree! This is what I love about UO and DLR. I just stayed in the Grand Californian over Christmas and nothing beats a 4-minute walk to Disneyland's front gate.

I agree - time spent on a bus equals less time on my favorite attractions! I love the 5 minute walk to a theme park!

How far of a walk is it from Universal's exit to IOA's entrance?

You walk past two restaurants: Hard Rock Cafe and NBA and then you are at the entrance to IoA. It's a 5 minute walk.
