I have one which I sent last August and for the life of me can't remember it!!!

Do you mean on these boards, or the UK ones? You won't be able to read your sent messages on the UKDIS. On these boards, click on user cp, then Private Messages, then choose Sent Items from the Jump to folder pick list.
