I have been reading through the threads but I can't find the answer. What size pages are the autograph pages. I think I have 8 X 8 albums from AC Moore that I was going to just put a cover on but now that I have found this tread I may try for a more magical book for my kiddos.

Thanks - you guys are seriously the bomb!

another question is a little budget conscious but doesnt this use up a lot of printer ink vs buying an autograph book? I really like the personalization of the different pages but ink is not so economical ? Anything Im not thinking of ?

The pages I have are 6x6 and 4x6. Penny's are 4x6. You could resize mine in a photo editing program to make them 8x8. I did them at the highest resolution I could, so it shouldn't get too fuzzy.

As for ink, yes, they do go through quite a bit of ink. If you print them out over time, it wouldn't be so vad, but if you try to print them all out at once, you'll probably notice it big time!

Try printin at a lower quality setting. That would help save some ink.

I have most every character ever in 8 X 8 format. I just finished scrapping from our last trip and the book is over 100 pages now  If you'd like the files I can email them to you.

Note - as someone mentioned this is an expensive endevour. Between supplies and ink I'd bet I have a couple of hundred dollars invested at this point. The book is unique and we will just keep adding to it on future trip. My plan is not to get repeat autographs, but just new character's or ones that we have missed on previous trips.

Here are a few examples

I used a combinatin of Heather's and Penny's - 149 pages! I actually messed up and had to reprint but I was able to do it all without changing the print cartridges. I originally did the pagesin 6x6 but then thought that was just too large (and heavy) to haul all over the parks - it gets heavy on 67 lb cardstock (and that's lighter card stock!). So I reprinted in 5x7. Yes, it is more expensive than the autograph books they sell in the park, but I'm thinking that this will be so much fun to put together once we get home! I will only use the pages that she actually gets signed, and Heather has included blank frames to match the autograph pages, so I can put photos of dd and the character in the blank frame, opposite the autograph!

You are right, it has been taking hours, but it is worth it to me as we will have once in a lifetime memories. :goodvibes
