I got my new monitor. So far, I mostly love it and I'll a little intimidated by it. It's really, really big. Scary big. Not quite 1200mm lens scary big, but scary big for me. The text is a bit smaller than I'm used to. The amount of real estate is incredible. I feel like I've moved from the suburbs to the country.
Here's what Lightroom looks like:

Looks like a movie screen ...lol. What type of camera do you use if you don't mind me asking? What is Lightroom used for? Is it just for Raw photos are is it much more? Thanks:cloud9:

Mark - you will love your 30 inches. I've had mine for a while and don't know what I did before;) Great when zooming in and doing detailed work on images.

Heck, I would use half for editing and the other half for a movie!

You folks are gonna RUIN me! If not from the nervous tension of me IMAGINING I had a 30" screen... or pair of 22" monitors .... then I'll be ruined when my equipment shorts out from my cold sweat and droolin' that pools on my keyboard as I read through these Lightroom threads.

And I thought I had a managable problem as I simply plot my tactics for acquiring my next DSLR body and lense. Now it's a software and monitor issue arising again!
Thanx neighbors....!
