Castaway Club

A shock today in the mail - my Castaway Club material - though it had my husband's name on it - boo hoo! (What were they thinking, I do all the work) I had read the posts lately where people hadn't gotten it for a long time or not at all. Mine's from November.

I thought I read something about pins - but I didn't get any. Are there pins or do I need to fill out the survey thingie I got - membership application?

How do you get the castaway club material? It has been over a year for us.

even if you don't send the survey back you are still a Castaway Cay member. I guess that is mainly for the pins. We didn't and were surprised when Disney remembered us. We still got the gift in the room from Disney Cruise Line. It was a sport tote with a water bottle.

So did we and like yours it came in my husbands name. And just like you I am the one who takes care of all vacation planning. I suppose they send it out in the name of the person listed first on passenger/room( always wondered why ta chooses to list hubby first when I make reservations AND they send docs addressed to me). I think it should be sent to Both names or Mr and Mrs or the wife, lol!!!

Ronda - And this time, the whole thing was on MY credit card! Why can't it just be a family name thing like the Disney Club. But at least I get the Swim Club Bond in my name - whoopee!

I want the pins!

Sorry, tigercat, it just showed up. I didn't do anything special. In fact, I stared at it blankly for a few minutes until I could comprehend what it was. I know a lot of people have been waiting a long time for theirs. So I was pretty surprised. Guess I need to book another cruise now! :cool:
