Help! Term I don't know!

It's a meatball recipe that calls for 1/2 pound Italian Sausage, bulk.
What the heck is "bulk"??:confused3

That means that in the package, it will look more like hamburger - as opposed to being individual sausage links.

But don't worry if you bought Italian sausage links -- you can just "squeeze" the sausage out of the casings and you'll have the same thing. :)
