Can you get the meal plan even if you didn't park tickets?

We booked a 6 night stay at BWV. We did not order park tickets because we had 7 days left on 10 day "no time limit" passes we bought last trip. I'm trying to figure out if you can purchase the meal plan if you have a room only reservation.

I can't see why you wouldn't be able to. The Dining plan is for the amount of nights you are on property, not the amount of ticket days you purchase.

but I think you have to at least buy a 1 day basic ticket. That's what we do. We bought our 10 day no expiration tickets a long time ago and have used them on the last 4 trips. This is our third time on the dining plan and we've always purchased the 1 day so that we could buy the dining plan.

The Dining Plans are part of the Magic Your Way package. If you do not buy the package (which includes at least 1 day park passes per person) then you cannot add the Dining Plans onto your room only ressie.

The only exception is DVC resorts when staying on DVC Points. If you pay cash, you are subject to the same rules that apply to other resorts.
