Do anyone know if there is an expiration date on these tickets? While I'm hoping to get back to Orlando this summer, it may not be until next spring. I'd love to buy the tickets now and just hold on to them.

When I click on the link, the $80.94 price shows up. However when I go to check-out, the price increases to $86.98 w/out tax ($92.64 tax included).
Maybe this is a glitch??

That may be the case phamton cause rechecked the universal site and they still have the 79.95 plus also figured out why when you go to buy the tixs it says 80.94 cause thats the .99 charge for print at home :lmao: you guys have to watch me with math:rotfl2:

Just ordered mine..yahoo....
Just a note, it does say to take this directly to the gate (Versus the electronic ticketing machine), and you have the option of waiting until you get there to get them at the machines (via scanning your credit card that you purchased them with originally), but I prefer to have physical evidence in my hand. Hopefully we can exchange them once inside for the regular looking ticket..

Yep...you take them directly to the gate. However, once inside, you CAN go to GS and get a more 'durable' ticket (and smaller too)...that piece of paper you printed it out on will get worn/ripped/wet and then you'd have to go to GS and get it replaced anyhows...

- How long will my tickets be available for pick up at the Electronic Ticketing Machines?
Once you purchase your tickets online they will be available for pickup from any electronic ticketing machine immediately after you complete your purchase, and will remain available until they are picked up. This means that whether you decide to pick up your tickets the next day, the next month, or the next year after you complete your purchase, your order will be securely stored in the system until you arrive to collect the tickets you purchased

Wow, that's an even better deal than the $86 we paid last year. We've done electronic pick up at the parks, and had no problems whatsoever. Just be sure you bring the credit card you used to purchase them. We picked up our tickets the evening before our first morning at the parks to avoid any lines.

We're interested in these tickets too, but when I clicked on 'ticket details' I see this regarding the city walk admission:
*Ticket(s) valid for admission to select Universal CityWalk Orlando clubs and venues for 7 consecutive nights including first day any portion of the ticket is used. Not valid for separately ticketed concerts, shows, and special events. Does not include movie at Universal Cineplex 20, an AMC Theatre or the Blue Man Group Show. Subject to availability. Some venues require ages 21 or older for admission. Valid FL Photo ID required. Restrictions apply. Benefits are subject to change without notice.

I just checked a few things..
if you click the tickets section on the US site you get the $85 ticket option that does mention the blurb in the details about having a FL ID...
if you click the link on the first page ofthe this thread the window with the 80.94 plus tax window, and the blurb about ID does not specify FL ID... just an ID.

I purchased the tickets now even though we aren't going until Dec. because the price is about $15. less per ticket than the last time I bought the same type and I don't know how long the price will last. I chose the electronic pick up option...have used it twice before with no problem.

We're not going until June but I will probably go ahead and purchase. Undercover Tourist has them at the same price as Universal but you get the actual ticket in hand. I have ordered tickets from them before. You can get them here on the dis boards for $85.99 I know its only a little cheaper than the universal site but at least you don't have to pay the .99 fee for print at home or electronic pick up.

Order 2 day unlimited pass today. From my work computer using a dial up connection I got the price of $80.98 each plus $10.54 total tax for a total of $172.50. There was no charge for the electronic pickup.
When I go home and use my DSL connection the price for the same website comes up $86.98 plus tax per ticket.
I don't know what gives, but I know I only paid the $172.50

The 7 day ticket is good till first use...(activated).... then you have 6 days till it expires.
There are always sales and deals out there...The first time our family went a couple years ago, we bought 2 day tickets for $99 and they gave you 3 free days...a good deal. There is a 'vet' on the Universal boards who commented that the 7 day $85 ticket was the 2nd best deal she's ever seen around here...and she's been around here since the 90's ;) Besides, if you buy them, and a better deal comes out, still save them for another trip in the future...it's still a deal! (or sell them to a friend or family member)
