Need Opinions - BCV vs BWV

Hello everyone,

Looking for opinions on our next trip. Should we stay at Beach Club Villas or Boardwalk Villas? (currently have rented DVC points for studio at Boardwalk Villas - preferred view). My son (will be turning 16 there) thinks the Beach Club will be too stuffy, but I'm all for it. It's what I think will be a last vacation for a while for us since my daughter will be a senior in high school next year (I think it will be tougher for her to get away afterwards - besides she will probably not want to spend her vacations with her dad and brother - how uncool! yada yada yada). Anyway, my son is getting his way later in the trip (I'm thinking of splurging for 2 nights at the Contemporary Tower - the Contemporary is his absolute favorite). So, opinions please. I like the Beach Club primarily for the closeness to Epcot (every few feet count). Thanks!

hi: our kids are in their teens and twenties. we are dvc members with our "home" as bwv. the kids absolutely love it there; our oldest spent part of his honeymoon there too. that being said, they love to pool hop over to stormalong bay. if your son is really into pools/swimming, bcv may be for him. however, the bwv will be a lot closer to the espn club and the restaurants. the walk to epcot from bwv isn't that much further than it will be from the bcv. the walk to mgm will be shorter (by a little) from the bwv than from the bcv. what does your daughter think?
