Hi! Longtime lurker, first time caller---er, poster....;)

So, we made our plans this past December, signed up for Ddp before I did ALL the math (thanks to everyone for all the research and cost comparisons and analysis!).
I knew that there was no app included, and that grat wasn't included... but this is our first trip since 2000, and first on-site, so I wasn't comparing to the old plan.

Anyhooooo, going the first week in Feb, and I made ADR's for CA Grill-- :woohoo: for our family: me, husband, son (11) who is an "adult" and daughter (5).

Now that I've read almost all the posts about the '08 Ddp, and run some numbers, using 6 adult/2 child TS credits and not being able to order app's seems silly!

So:
Should I just get over it and trust that the CA Grill's ambience, the entree's and desserts will be so fabulous that I won't regret?
Should I just pay OOP for that meal?
Should I pay the $50 change fee to cancel the whole plan?

AAARRRGGHH--I need your opinions!

thanks so much!

Keep the plan and pay OOP for an appetizer if you want it.

The dining plan is a wonderful plan. The ability to say yes to your kids for snacks will be worth more than you can calculate. You will still get plenty of food.

Be sure to have a couple of buffets on your list; the no appetizer is a moot point then.

Yes, we have ADR's for Crystal Palace, Askershus, as well as Teppan Edo, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Yak and Yeti and Sci-Fi theater. (7 nights...)

It's just the math with the Signature Restaurants that does me in...and the fact that for that many credits we still have to pay OOP for appy's...
