First one who says "just today?" gets a punch in the nose.
I am sooooo cranky!:scared1:
Tara (DD21 for those who don't know) moves to L.A. on the 19th. I signed up for a history class knowing that I'd need to keep busy...and today it was canceled!
I didn't sleep well last night and I've had a headache for 3 days!
It's my 23yr anniversary on Sunday and I still haven't found a present for DH...

I'm just a PISSPOT today!!!!

Ooooh, I'm cranky too - just ask my family - but just between you and me, "it's that time of the month..." AND Hilliary, my candidate, is NOT doing well, not well AT ALL!!! :scared1:

So, my approach to both - and I heartily recommend this to you - is that I've isolated myself in my den (to the great cheers of humans and canines alike), grabbed a bottle of old, red wine from the frig and am veggitating and cognating on my favorite boards ... what can I say, it's a strategy :wizard:

I wish I could do this too. Unfortunately I can't drink and I don't "smoke"...this leaves me with chocolate..nice but not nearly enough.
I'm planning on A) jumping on the threadmill B) a hot shower c) bed!!!!

Very Cute! You actually made me smile!

The topper to my day was I get home, head to the garage which house my threadmill.....to discover a leak in the ceiling and a huge (no kidding) pool of water:headache: :headache: :headache:
I cried, I stomped, I got on that threadmill and ran for my life!!!!!!:scared1:

Thanks everyone for listening to me rant...the cat was no help at all... just looked at me like I was an annoyance who hadn't fed him yet.

Well, Hillary came in first in New Hampshire. Does that help at all?

Ach. It's hard, these life changes. Find another class!

:rotfl: Cats are good at this, aren't they?

We got ours when he was only 8 weeks old and he'd been in foster care for 5 weeks before that so he's a little more human identified than most. He'll let us pick him up in all kinds of positions, play with his feet, etc. Last night I was even playing with his tail while he was lying on the headrest of our loveseat and his only reaction was to keep moving it away from me--he didn't bother moving any of the rest of his body and even purred when I reached over to rub his dangling paw.

But, he was also sitting at the foot of the bed with a very disapproving look when I woke up this morning--apparently breakfast was late. Where did he learn this?

I'm sorry you had a rough day Rosie!

Thank you so very much!
For the most part I am a very optimistic person...if all the things that have been occuring happened one at a time..I would have laughed it off...but yesterday was hard.

I really, really appreciate you having checked in with me today.:lovestruc :lovestruc

I'm smiling!

True.

With rosiep telling us that we couldn't say "what, only TODAY?" and you being away, the board has been a little quieter and tamer than usual.

How sweet of both of you to notice! I am now all verkempt! I have been busy traveling and working funny hours lately for work. I have a three day weekend and it's a good thing -- the house is a total pig-sty (I just found a sticky fuzzy yucky candy cane under the sofa... eeeeewwwww).

Anybody wanna be bad?
