Anyone who has stayed at the S/D, using the nurses rate or teachers rates, For the standard view , where was your room located & What type of view did you have? Did they upgrade you for the starwood card? Thanks, MKY:)

Hi!

I've stayed at each hotel multiple times. I have never had a room without a balcony and only one time did I have a room that was not Epcot view and it was MGM, altho, the roof of the restaraunt, while not obstructing the view, did take away a little bit ;).

I do have a Starwoods card and always show it, but, more for the points than anything else now.

I love the nurse discount (have sent some friends to SD with that rate) and will always be grateful to Mr SwanDolphin for thinking of us nurses!

We used teachers discount this past January - I think we were in the west wing - did not have a view of either park, but all rooms (4 total) on the first floor with patios - views were either the lake inlet or the pool. Location worked out well though - was close to boat dock, pool and bus stop.

One of the couples with us showed their starwood gold card - no upgrades were given. But there were four rooms and we were all kept together.

Our views weren't anything spectacular, but the location made up for the lack of view. Oh - Tubbis was right there too.

we stayed at the swan last year, check-in over easter week and were given a room that overlooked the dolphin. you culd see the basts coming and going. it was great. I showed my card but did not specifically ask to be upgraded
