Just checking to see if everyone is alright. Back to the topic of global warming, it looks like all this warm air coupled with all the cold air from last week made Mother Nature pretty irrate last night in the mid-west. Several touched down in our old hometown and we talked to some friends this morning who, other than spending the night in the hallway, were OK.

I just wanted to make sure all of you were OK, too......

We had tornado warnings yesterday. Fortunately for us we were about 30 to 60 miles away. Unfortunately for a lot of other people they lost their homes. They were saying we had 3 to 5 that touched down in the Kenosha area and west of there. Pictures on TV this am are not pretty. Fortunately only injuries, noone was killed. Only in Wisconsin tornados and 63 degrees and snow today.:confused3

Thanks for checking in. :goodvibes We were under a watch until 2:00am last night. We had a thunderstorm come in about midnight with some really loud thunder that woke up the kids. It's pretty unusual weather for January for sure. There weren't any actual tornados in our area, thank goodness. Our yard is flooded and the rain isn't letting up :headache:

Glad to hear you are safe and sound!
In Arkansas, we used to get "thundersnow" storms. I had never heard of it before! We also had the mega booms that would shake the whole house like you had last night. Crazy stuff! I hope you get some sunshine soon!:sunny:
