Australia "Discovery Down Under" Nov 30th, 2008 anyone?

My wife and I are signed up for the Discovery Down Under tour beginning Nov 30th in Cairns, Australia. Anybody else joining us on the tour? :cool1:

Any do's or dont's for visiting Australia? How about those that are going ahead of us...share your tips and photos when you get back?

I tried to book an October trip to Australia, but it was all full. Subsequently, my hubby & I are now booked on one in January 2009. We asked to be put on a wait list for October, but never heard about anyone cancelling, so I guess we are stuck with 01/09.

I have never been to Australia, so I don't have a lot of advice for you, but I am very pale and am focusing my efforts towards sun protection.:) We just bought Body Glove shirts for snorkeling. We also know we will need a cell phone that we can use overseas and some type of converter for our electronic devices. (All of that is the hubby's territory, though.)

I hope you will post pics when you get back. I will still be here waiting for my trip!!
