Does anyone know of any books that would give any information about the values of Disney pins? Someone asked me the other day what the most expensive pin was that I have-you know, I have absolutely no idea! I trade just for what I like, WDW attractions and related pins. But I am curious. I went to Walden's for some book I thought was called "Dr. Stovall's Guide" but they couldn't find any such thing. They suggested, if someone has it, I need the ISBN #. Any other books anyone would recommend?

Hi Simba,

Disney came out with a book a year or so back showing many pins , but by the time it came out it was already outdated with so many new pins coming out.

A few recommendations

Tomarts Guide to Disneyanna, a quarterly magazine that shows many of the new pins as they come out, with some basic price ranges for them (A under $8, B is $8-$12, etc...) Its pretty good, but again when it comes out, it is already outdated somewhat.

Secondly, I hate to say it but, Ebay is the only real fluid reference guide to see what current pins are going for. But please remember, Ebay prices can be exaggerated if a bidding war occured on a particular pin. But it is good as a "reference point."

And finally, the chat boards on sites like this and Dizpins are great for answering questions about anything pertaining to pins, so ask away!!
