I need some opinions here...just recieved news of a discount today, and want to take advantage of it for Memorial Day trip.

We have stayed at WL twice and ABSOLUTELY loved the place and the convience. We want to either stay at the Poly or the GF this time and take advantage of the discount, and try something new.

Is the Poly spread out, or is every thing pretty much all together..the lobby, the restaurants, etc. Are the rooms nice, roomy, easy to get too from the lobby? Do they have food courts w/ hamburgers, pizza etc. Hubby is very picky eater.

Same questions for the GF.

Thanks for all your help! :)

If I had the choice, it would GF hands down.

Both resorts are convenient to the monorail, and both have spread out bldgs but I think GF's isn't as long a walk to the farthest bldg.

Also, GF is much newer than the Poly. It's just so amazingly beautiful. I'd always stay there if I could afford to.

Of course, other LOVE the Poly so it's really up to you.

I think both resorts have the same size room.

I have stayed at the WL and the Poly and loved them both. Between the GF and the Poly is a toss up. They both have monorail access which works out great to go to MK and Epcot. I would choose which one you get a better rate at. I can't choose which resort on any other aspect besides price.

Prefer the poly over gf. The grand is less comfortable to us, more quietly refined, the poly is a more relaxed and homey feel.;)

Just curious....what kind of discount did you just receive news of??
Is it one that has already been discussed here, or something new?
And ..... what kind of rates were they offering?
We haven't been to any of these three, but plan on Poly for part of our June trip. But still looking for a better deal.

I think it would probably come down to which theme you would prefer. The South Seas, more laid-back tropical or the elegant Victorian style grand hotel.
Our original plan was for Hawaii this year.....but we are short on the funds.....so the next best thing is Disney's version :D That was why we wanted Poly
