This weather is crazy!

It's as warm in Buffalo, NY right now as it is in Fort Wilderness and not because there's a cold spell in Florida! The temperature in Buffalo will be in the low 60s today and tomorrow! This is early January! It will break the old record set in the 1930s by over 10 degrees!

The weather all over the US has been weird. Does this concern anyone else?

Global warming here we come. I'll be in WDW on Thursday -- I hope the weather isn't too strange then.

It is scarry...global warming, nuclear winter, depleating ozone, whatever.....it aint like it was 20 years ago. Its not the end of the world Im worried about...I just never know how to pack for disney!!!

The Great Lakes are down about 3 feet the last 15+ years........

Crushing old high temp records by 10-15 degrees is definately not normal....

But hopefully our eyes will open sooner than later :idea: I won't hold my breathe though..

Weather oddities happen from time to time. Last week was our coldest week of the winter so far, and this week we have record highs. Can't wait to see what next week brings!

Looking at breaking record temps on one day of one month is not very meaningful. If you look at each day's record temps, you'll find that most days have records of 60 degrees or higher, set in in many different decades. For example, the record for Jan 6 was 62 in 1997.

I would have thought the people on the Disboards had more common sense than to buy into algore's:banana: crazy little world of "global warming"!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:

BTW-whether we are warming or cooling the world is not going to last forever! I'd rather spend my time worrying about when my next trip to Disney will be!:cool1: I know where I'm going:thumbsup2 when my time is up OR the world freezes or burns (which ever comes first!)

Yeah, that global warming is brutal. That snow in FL last week was just too hot.;) Dec 06 had another freak cold front in WDW. I remember as a kid having the occasional Christmas in tank tops and shorts. Then there were years where it snowed close to Christmas (only 2) and that was in New Orleans. At Halloween, you never know if you should dress as a surfer or an eskimo. The weather has always been crazy. People are just focussing on it more now because they have nothing else to worry about.

And yes, the world will not last forever. Regardless of global warming or whatever, we should take care to make it last as long as we can. I try to be green, but it is not for fear of global warming. It is for fear of making a disgusting mess of this beautiful planet.
