We have a 7 yr old boy and 12 yr old girl and they just love everything!! :) They tell me their fav park is Epcot with Soarin & Mission Space but it will depend on the type of kids you have. My eldest just loves the big rides like Expedition Everest (AK) & Space Mountain (MK) whereas the 7yr old is not into that at all :confused3

These are their top rides:

Magic Kingdom : Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain & Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin.

Epcot: Mission Space (green channel) & Soarin

Animal Kingdom : Expedition Everest, Primeval Whirl, Nemo stage show

Hollywood Studios : Star Tours, Motor Stunt show (not sure of the name), Rock n roller coaster & Tower of Terror

I know I have probably missed a lot as they just love it all :rotfl:

This is only Disney.........then you have Seaworld, Aquatica (opens in March), Universal & Island of Adventure. The list is never ending which just means more trips across the pond :cool1:

I agree, everything, do not automatically dismiss anything we are in our 40's and our children have visited from ages 1 to 16 and we have the best time.

i'm not a big believer in must sees...
in my opinion, the most important thing is to relax and enjoy and not to drive yourself crazy trying to see everything..

so often i see completely exhausted families, tired, angry at each other, yelling....all because they're trying to do too much...

it's a good formula for ruining a vacation...

the advice above to get there before opening is very good, other than that i would say take it easy and don't be upset if you can't do it all...

If your children can handle it (you too!) do as much as you can. We will often have character breakfasts and dinners as you have to eat and doing it with the characters gives you the opportunity for photos and autographs, leaving more time in the parks for rides and shows. Use shows as rest time, get as many fastpasses as you can throughout the day and as already said above, don't dismiss anything as you never know = our DS (13 & 10) still enjoy Peter Pan's Flight etc.. but we have to do Terror Tower all the Mountains, Star Wars, Rock'n'Roller Coaster too.........
I personally would avoid the Hoop De Doo Dinner show, I think it's an "American" thing, but I can't say any of our party enjoyed it and it didn't appear to be just us feeling that way when we went.

My 2 love Test Track, Soarin, Splash, BTMRR, Kali River Rapids and lots more and they really love Blizzard Beach.

Good advice is to get to the park at rope drop do as much as you can, get lots of fast passes then go back to the hotel for a nice relaxing swim before heading back for a meal and the fireworks. Take the lead from the kids if they need a break as you definitely don't want moany kids :rotfl:

I personally would avoid the Hoop De Doo Dinner show, I think it's an "American" thing, but I can't say any of our party enjoyed it and it didn't appear to be just us feeling that way when we went.

We did it last August for 1st time and loved it, its like any show you don't know unti you try it, 90% of people love Cirque, I didn't. The food at Hoop was just my kind of food, delicious.

We loved HDDR too, my DD's and DH said it was one of the best things of our holiday!
