$ 6 million in sales at BCV in one week

I just spoke with our sales guide and he told me that BCV was selling real well. $ 6 million in sales just last week alone. If you take that and divide it by $ 11250.00 which is the cost of 150 pts that would give you approximately 500 new members. Of course not everyone is buying 150pts but lets just say it's a lot!!!

Hey Ed:

Doing a bare estimate, a studio in BCV has 6396 points available per year (using dream season as an average). A 1 -BR has 13104 points available per year.

I don't know how many studios, and 1 BR BCV has, but let's assume that there are about 120 of each (which combined make up 2 br).

That would add up to 2'339,760 points, which, at an average of $75/pt would add up to roughly $175'000,000.

If they kept selling 6'000,000 a week, the resort would be sold out in about 7 months. I doubt the sales rate will be that high, but it definitley is a very successful start.

Just keep selling, baby. The more points put into the "pool" the easier it will be for us to stay there on points with the 7 month window next January.

I think at this rate, Disney better hurry up with DI! BCV looks awesome. I wish I could afford to add on more points right now. Well, maybe in a couple of years we can pick one up resale.
