I am really unsure if I intro'd myself on this board, so here it goes.
Hi there! I'm Kevin. I'm 19 and live in Orlando. I am so fortunate enough to live near Disney, Universal, and Sea World! I am happily employed with 2 of the previously mentioned theme parks (1 of which being WDW). I have been out for about 2 years now, so I'm just a baby in the family, hehe. I have dealt with drama in previous relationships, so here's hoping 2008 will be less dramatic.
Looking forward to meeting new friends and potentially meeting up at Gay Days 2008!
With love and hugs,
Kevin

Thanks, Mike! I'm already loving it here. I'd prefer Cokes over alcoholic drinks ANY DAY...lol. I'll never drink the stuff.

Believe it or not it happens. I'm in my 30's and still can't stand the taste of alcohol--even in my chocolates!
But, I can't stand the taste of Coke either, so, I may just be weird!

:grouphug: :grouphug: Hello! Welcome!
I don't drink alcohol either....but only because it makes me ill. (Can you be allergic to alcohol???) There are days were I most definitely wish I could imbibe.....But my kids assure me I'm goofy enough.

(Can you be allergic to alcohol???)
Yep. You can be allergic to just about anything that can enter your body through inhalation, ingestion, or absorption. However, in the case of alcohol, you can also have a genetic inability to break it down.
In my case, I could consume alcohol, I've just never liked it. I recently discovered that I have a medical condition that is relatively insignificant by itself but could have become deadly if I'd ever been a heavy drinker. It's amazing what the body manages to tell you, if you listen!

Haha, thanks for the kind welcome, everybody!!!! I hope to meet some of you DISers at the parks sometime.
@ Sue: I don't think that would work, as I don't have my license!!!! hahaha I could drive like Cruella De Vil, I guess.
@ Tony: I work at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Outdoor Foods.

So true! Last year I was diagnosed with extremely high lead levels. this meant my poor kidneys and liver were working as hard as they could to control the toxins...adding alcohol would have put me over the top with dire consequences...so I was very fortunate. And I have only 5 more rounds of Chelation before I am lead free...so we'll all be celebrating! No rum but plenty of cake!!!!!

There are a few CM's lurking on this board. I know at least 2 of us work at resorts, in various roles ;)
