Anyone ever make one before? My littlest one turns 1 on thursday and I wanted to make her something different and special. I found a tutorial online that I might try. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/105830324epGFhn Just wondering if anyone had any pointers. :) Thanks!

I haven't made one of these - I used to just make cupcakes for everyone for 1st b'days. ;)
However, I'd think one of the things you'll want to do is to prevent the cupcakes from getting a dome on them.
First, "bang" the cupcake tray on the counter after filling & before baking. You do this with cakes to get rid of the air pockets. It also helps keep a cake from getting that dome. *They use the term "bang" but it's more like a hard tap. I usually just drop the pan from the height of an inch or so.
The other thing to prevent that dome is to spin the cake pan. I'm not sure how that would work with the cupcake pan though. :confused3
Good luck with this - it's really cute!
