What is the best way to get to the GF for the pirate cruise?

I just signed the boys up. We need to be to the GF by 9:00 or so. Should we drive? Or, is it easy to get there using Disney transport? If so, how and when should we leave?

Also, has anyone else done this? Is it fun?

Since no one else has answered, I have never done this. But I'd like to hear about it.

I don't know if it is the best way, but in keeping with the nautical pirate: theme of the occasion you could take the boat from Fw to Mk then just walk over to the dock for the GF boat.:sail: I would leave an hour early just to be safe and stay relaxed.

Another option, in case the MK boat is very crowded, take the smaller launch to CR, then ride the monorail to GF. Driving is always an option and likley faster.

If we are trying to get to one of the monorail resorts...we always take the smaller boat to CR and then ride the monorail. It's not that *fast* by any means....but all part of the Disney experience for us! :goodvibes
