I was wanting to get a 205, and was wondering if Garmin will be at the expo. Also, do you think I'd have enough time (if I they're there and I got one) to figure out how to use it's basic features?

I don't recall seeing them at the expo this year. I would figure they wouldn't be there but you never know.
Yes, you could learn how to use it. Pretty simple to use.

Have you seen the new Forerunner 405? http://www8.garmin.com/ces/forerunner/index.html

Wow! The new 405 looks cool.
Stacey, when are you planning on leaving for WDW?
You can order the 205 from Amazon ($149) and get it by Wednesday with 2 day shipping or Tuesday with 1 day shipping. It would be a lot cheaper to do it this way than to purchase it at the expo...if available.

Wow, the 405 looks awesome! I'm having new toy envy! Let's see, my birthday isn't until August, and Christmas is a whole year away. Maybe I need to buy the new baby an early present. :thumbsup2

I leave Tuesday, so I couldn't get it in time, because I'm in a rural area and there's no such thing as 1 day shipping here! Even 2 day would be too close. Thanks for the ideas, guys!

Stac: Get it shipped to your resort. It might even beat you to WDW:)

Great idea to have it shipped to the resort!
Ooooh, I have Garmin envy. I love mine, but the new one intrigues me.

I got to play with the 405 this afternoon. I think that those who don't like the bulkiness of the 305 will like this. I was afraid the numbers would e small but they are manageable. IT's a solid HR monitor with a great GPS feature. It sunced quickly. The bezel view changer works well though I would like to have tried it with gloves to see how well it would work.

Is the green 405 supposed to be for women because I'm a guy and I tend to like it over the boring black one..
