It's nervous me again and guess who has ANOTHER question?!

For the sweeper pace group for the half, I was wondering if there will be some who are just walking and for the R/W (or as in my case W/R) :) do most of you follow a set interval for walking/running? Like do you all do a 3/2 or 4/2or something or do go until you can't then walk? Just trying to figure out how to program my thinking. Thanks for any comments you can offer.

Don't worry, Lara, I know of quite a few people that will only be walking during the half. In fact, I know a few that are "only walking" the full. Just find the green WISH shirts at the back of the pack and stay with them. Don't worry, you'll do fine!

As Jeanne said. Also you will find a variety of w/r, and a great game of tag can be had. I walk someone walks faster, I jog catch up they pull away with the steady walking, and repeat...

Larah, I do a 3/2 - walk/run and it really works great for me. I try to maintain a 15 mi mile pace walking or better and then I do a 12 min mile pace jogging. This results in a respectable (ahead of the sweepers) pace. If I tried to jog until I couldn't anymore, I would sacrifice my knees too early in the race and then find it hard to maintain even a decent walking pace!! Anyway, hope my 2 cents is worth something to you :goodvibes
