What to do on 3 day trip in San Diego with DD5 and DS7

I just found out that DH will be going to a conference in San Diego the first week in May and I am going to tag along and bring the kids. This is a first trip for all of us. We will be staying at the Westgate hotel and DH will be busy the whole time we are there. What are the best places to take the kids since I will be alone and will not have a car. I think the hotel has a shuttle that will take us to area attractions. We are planning on going to DL after DH's conference is over so some no-park activities might be fun too.

Any recommendations?

Seaworld, San Diego Zoo and Legoland were our favorites when ds was younger. Without a car, not sure if Legoland will work for you.

Also playing on the beach is great fun too and lots to see/do in Balboa Park. You will be close to the Midway and Maritime Museum, could be fun, plus just watching all the ships head in and out! There is a ferry to Coronado Island.

Very highly recommend Sea World & San Diego Zoo. We enjoyed them both very much on our trip last month. I would 2nd the Lego Land, but it is almost 45min - 1 hour drive North, so may not be able to w/out a car.

Also, maybe the Animal Park might be an option for you. Or look into public transportation to LegoLand, worth the quest.
