“The Disney Dining Plan, previously available to Disney Vacation Club Members only when staying in a Disney Vacation Club Resort at the Walt Disney World® Resort, now is available to Members staying in Walt Disney World”…” include a daily combination of meals, snacks and, in the case of Disney's Plus Wine and Dine Package, a nightly bottle of wine”.:thumbsup2
Does anyone know the cost of the regular package vs the "Plus" package?

Hope this helps...
The Basic Dining Plan is $37.99 per day for aged 10 and above & $9.99 per day for children ages 3-9.
The DELUXE Dining Plan will cost $69.99 for those aged 10 and above and $19.99 for children ages 3-9.
Wine and Dine Option: For an extra $39.99/day you can add a daily bottle of wine to your package.

Just keep in mind that this is NOT "Your Father's DDP!" DDP 2008 has been significantly changed from previous years.
The basic plan no longer includes an appetizer with Table Service meals, and neither the basic or "Deluxe" plans include gratuity.
In previous years, an 18% gratuity for the server was included in the price of the DDP -- that's no longer true now. Now, the diner is responsible for all tips.

Could someone clarify this statement for me? I read it to mean that if I do split stay POP/DVC point stay at VWL, that I will be able to buy DDP for all of the nights including the 2 I am staying at POP??

You will only be able to get the dining plan at POP if you purchase a package through Disney (not MS) and pay full price for your room with at least a one day ticket for every person in your party.

It's really not clear from the info posted on the Members website.
Previously, we could only get DDP on points stays, and it makes sense for that part of it not to change. However, we can't stay at the Pop (or any of the values) on points. Whether that means you can't get DDP on a cash Pop stay booked through MS, I can't tell you.
I think this is one of those situations where the only way to know is to call MS and ask.

Ohh ok so it means you can get DDP when you use points to stay at say WL or GF and so on. Part of the Disney Collection. Is that correct?

Is that correct? This is a recent change to be able to use DDP for points stays at non DVC options for WDW but it is my understanding you can now do so. What I'm not sure is the effective date, the email seemed to suggest it was available now for points stays (or DVC cash stays through MS).

The Disney Collection does not include Wilderness Lodge. Any WDW Resort that has a DVC attached (such as WL and BC) are not in the Collection. Value resorts are also not included.
The DVC Members now staying at the Disney Collection on points can purchase the DDP.

But you also have to pay the $95 fee to book outside of DVC.

ok, thank you for clarifying this. I am staying 5 nights next month, 2 at POP and 3 at VWL. I will only have the DDP for the 3 at VWL.
