ID for children

I know a birth certificate is needed for children but what about a picture ID?

No, children are not required to have a picture ID, but adults are. However, if your child does have a photo ID, it's not a bad idea to go ahead and bring it anyway. Just make sure you have the certified copy of the child's birth certificate and you'll be fine.
