It's really moving along. It looks "ahead of schedule" whatever that may look like. But I've seen posts/updates, etc. that they are ahead of schedule, is that correct?
Thanks for the pictures!
Thanks so much for the pictures! This is driving me crazy! We won't be staying there until May 2009.
Wow, I'm really impressed how fast this is going. We will be there later this month to see for ourselves. Maybe take a picture or two.

Thanks for the pics! It is great that we can all share these here on the Dis. It really looks like things are moving along well. It does look ahead of schedule. I am sure that someone will be along soon to confirm that if it is true.
Doesn't DVC see say that Kidani will open in phases with completion by Spring 2009? That might mean that by this time next year, we could be reading reports of the first Kidani guests!
I will take some pics when I am at AKV in July. And I am hoping for a summer 2009 Kidani stay! It feels good to be an AKV owner.

A bit more progress since I was there the first week of Dec. I can't wait to see how far they've gotten when I return in March.
Thanks for posting the pics! It's great to see our new villas going up. I'm looking forward to the new Kidani-style rooms!

Wow. I am amazed at how fast it is going up. Definately will need to check it out when I get down there in March. Now the question is whether or not any of those rooms will be available for booking for a Dec 08 stay. I know it will be completed by mid 09, but will some sections be opening early?

I believe that Kidani is supposed to open in phases. So a Dec 08 stay is possible.

I may try and book Kidani when I make my reservations for the December trip. I have nothing to lose by trying ...:)

I posted a video last week from our Wanyama safari on December 28 (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1671429) where you can see the entire building. While the area at this end where the photos were taken looks very far along, the other end of the building just barely has a foundation and the basic floor structure. There are no walls and it's only a few feet off the ground. There is definitely a long way to go on the rest of the building.

I think that indicates that they are trying to get the first phase opened as soon as they can.
