What do you think?
Are the images big enough? Clear enough?

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm having a problem with uploading and I was not sure it would even be visible since it is not showing up on the DIS Photo gallery. I think it is in some "picture Limbo" and I was able to copy it here temporarily.

They look good. They definitely show the detail.

Thanks.
Now I just have to figure out my technical problem with putting it on the photo site.

I was trying to post the image, not the link.
This one is LARGEhttp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2381/2169221622_596c267ecb_o.jpg
This one is MEDIUMhttp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2381/2169221622_ca542215b8.jpg
Is the large too large?
Is the medium big enough?

On my screen the large looks the best, but the medium is clear enough to get all the necessary details on, and might work better for smaller screens.

I'm thinking the smaller one might work better for a number of reasons; less bandwidth, less time loading and if I use these for my Epcot FAQs thread, it won't be quite so big.

Both I can see, but the medium one would be a bit hard to do if I hadn't been to WDW before and know a bit what I'll be looking for.

If you're worried about bandwidth etc. maybe it's an idea to make a topic with links in there for both the larger and medium one, so people can pick what they think is best? Or are you also worried about the space you've got to upload them to?

I think a little of both.
If you look at this thread, (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1671441) my first thought was to just have a write up about each attraction. I was going to have one post about World Showcase and one about Future World. I was going to post full size pictures, but those would be too big and take up too much space on a page to read about it and look at the picture at the same time.
I decided to make picture montages like this and my idea is to post one for as many attractions as I can, along with some written information. I could post the smaller ones and include a link to the larger size. That way, if someone wanted to print out just the pictures and add their own notes, they could.
I also have to decide if I should group the attractions or have one post for each attraction/pavilion.

I think the large is much easier to see and make out the details. And as WM Alex says, don't worry about bandwidth as most people now have broadband; those who don't probably have images turned off anyway.

Large it is.
When I finally get around to putting these up, I will include a link to the picture so that people can print one off if they want.

Great idea Sue! The large looks best to me. I think the pictures will be a big help to people. :goodvibes

Great idea as it is much easier to see the ride vehicle and a person actually being loaded. What is easy for some is hard for others. Sheer Genius.

I use Internet Explorer, and there's a drop down "menu" I guess you'd call it which usually says 100% right above the clock in the lower right corner, but can zoom the screen up to 400%, making it perfectly easy to see all the detail in the smaller version of your picture. I'm guessing most browsers have a similar feature, so if the larger image doesn't work out because of too much space, etc., you might be able to use the smaller and add a note or something about adjusting the zoom level.

On the drop down menu of the new IE is the custom which allows custom settings such as reducing to 10% or blowing up something to 1000% but on close ups it is rather hard to find the thing I am looking for.

I don't use Internet Explorer, so I think I will just post the pictures in the large size like the last picture I posted.

That was going to be my next question. I've been thinking for some months about creating a notebook for DD with photos of the rides she enjoys. She is non-verbal and I was thinking of using the pics in such a way that she could choose the park we visited and pick which rides she wanted to go to next, etc. I tried a version of that last trip, but I had the photos of the outside of the attraction. She didn't really make the connection, but I think the ride vehicles and loading stations will work. Thank you so much for doing this!

It might just be me, but I think that the somewhat smaller size leaves out some details that might be important to some/many people. Personally, I'd vote for larger.

Are they OK for you?
I've decided to go with the larger size, but now I'm trying to see how the added things like the icons I put on the pages work. What do you thing of them?

I like the icons as it makes it easy to see what is what. Very nice and if I cannot see details then I will use the zoom. Very nice icons.

I think the icons are excellent. It is some much easier to determine if the ride will meet your individual needs if you can see the loading or transferring process and the icons. Excellent idea.

thanks for the feedback.
I had to search a bit for the icons, but I think they are pretty good and they are standard ones from an architectural organization. I will include an index that tells what they mean.
I don't know how fast I will get more made and up on the Epcot FAQs thread that I made, but you will see that thread pop to the top when I do add something.

Agreed. With the larger pics, the icons work VERY well!
