i've been lurking for a while reading and i decided to join and say hi. I am a native new yorker and still living here. i'm a huge disney fan and am thinking about a last minute trip to disney at the end of the month. so if anybody is going in late jan./early february, i'd love to chat...or meet up at mannequins on a thursday night :woohoo:

I can't decide whether I should go solo in January or not. I realize that this is the wrong crowd to help make that decision, but being that I was just there in March, perhaps I should go elsewhere (like California or Phoenix) for a long weekend. Hmmm.....:idea:

I used to live in NY..Williamsburg, Bay Ridge, Park Slope..even Bensonhurst:eek: ..but I've been living happily on the West Coast for years now.

So this trip is a "I need a break from my life" trip....or rather, I think that I am doing this. I haven't 100% decided that I'm going. But it will be a solo trip to try to get over my ex. Let's just say it ended on New Year's Eve right before midnight so I started the year single. :confused3

So this trip (or any other one I'm about to take) is a way to go by myself meet some people and have some fun. If I do it, I'll be at POP on Jan. 30 for 3 nights and CSR for 1 (darn Disney reservation policy won't let me book 2 nights each!)

I am just not sure if I want to go back so soon as I was just there in March with my ex. Oh well. If I go, it's all about the new Spaceship Earth, Pirates, good food (hopefully...), and Mannequins (on Thursday night)!

If anybody wants to go and have fun in the parks, lemme know! :)
