I have been exploring various hotel options in the DTD area, we would like something reasonably priced and family friendly for a 3 and 6 year old. Any opinions on the Best Western Lake Buena Vista?

I've stayed there on many occasions and plan on staying there again this spring. The place is nothing fancy, just clean and neat. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is their buffet. The food really isn't that good. I believe they still have a free breakfast, although there is often a waiting line to get into the restaraunt.
You are very close to DTD and the parks are easy to get to without having to use the interstate. For the price and location, I think it's a good place to stay.

Good to hear. I just booked this on Travelocity at a steal, four R/T air tix out of NYC, 7 nights at Best Western Lake Buena Vista, Hertz car rental for four people for only $999 and its spring break week, April 11 through 18.
For anyone interested, maybe just booking the hotel and car is cheap alone.

My boyfriend and I stayed there two weeks ago. It is clean and the staff are reasonably helpful. The breakfast buffet and restaurant are definitly something to stay away from- and the breakfast is not free anymore. They have a bus that runs every 1/2hr to all Disney Parks and DTD. Have FUN!

stayed there in Dec '06. We like it. Clean room, GREAT view of DTD, the extra $10 was worth it. We would go back.

Hello....
When did you book your hotel/flight? You got a really good deal...I am looking for something similar for the week of May 19th...Any suggestions?

I enjoyed it.

stayed there for 3 nights last year.

added the $15 to upgrade - got a lovely view of the parks - so you could see at night the fireworks going off from Epcot and Mk.

Hi, I booked this about two weeks ago. I just checked the package prices(airfare, hotel, and car) every day on Expedia and Travelocity. When I got the $999 price, I immediatly booked it. Just keep checking!!:goodvibes
