Hi All ~ I am losing weight thru counting calories, eating good food and exercising. I do 20-30 minutes on the treadmill daily and weights every other day. I eat around 1400 calories.

How many calories do you eat daily?

What is your exercise routine?

Blessings, Sandra

I am using Sparkpeople and it suggested a calorie range of 1230-1580. My exercise goal each week is to burn 1060 calories each week. That usually means exercising (fast walking, WATP video, etc.) for 30 minutes at least 4 times a week.

I keep my calories between 1200 -1500. Ideally I would like to do a 30 mins (2 mile) outdoor walk in the AM or at lunch and then do 45 / 3 mile Leslie Sansone (walk away/ walk at home) work out in the evening.

I am trying to stay at 1200 even just in case I am miscalculating, to have a cushion.

Exercise is 20-30 min on the elliptical, arc trainer, or mini stepper, 3-5 times a week, and weight training 3 times a week.

This all works very well, until a WDW trip comes around and messes it all up!

I keep my calories below 1500 & try to get on the treadmill daily. I've lost 34lbs. so far! I'm really hoping that tomorrow it will be 35lbs!

My body is horribly weight-loss resistant. I was doing 45 mins a day five days a week on the elliptical to maintain my weight. Now I want to try to shed this last 20lbs so I'm up to an hour on the elliptical 5-6 days a week and a 1/2 hour of weight training on those days. I've been doing that for two weeks and have been afraid to weigh myself. (time of the month this week) I feel better though, so when all the lovely bloating is gone, I'll hop on the scale. I've also been trying to keep calories between 1200 and 1400 using Sparkpeople.com.

Grr. Why is the last 15-20 pounds so hard?

I use sparkpeople.com too! Love it!

I have decided to up my cardio, to 25 min M/W/F and 45 min T/Th. I am doing to do M/W/F as the elliptical, and T/Th as the "arc" trainer. I may also add a day or two of ice hockey, schedule and $$$ permitting.

I know what you mean, except all the weight I lose seems hard to get off!
