Hi
We are planning a kayaking trip in Wakiwa Springs in April.
Has anyone done this before? Is there anywhere to eat in the park, or are we better taking a picnic?
Any info would be great. Thanks
Tracy

Its been a long time since I visited the springs, but I dont believe there are any options for food there. I would suggest taking a picnic, or picking up some subs on the way....

There is a concession there that sells drinks and perhaps some snacks, but I don't think they sell food per se. But there are picnic facilities including some grills in case you want to bring a bag of charcoal and cook up some burgers or chicken.
The park website is: http://www.funandsun.com/parks/WekiwaSprings/wekiwa.html
Use Exit# 94 off I-4 and then head west on State Road 434. Turn right onto Wekiwa Springs Road and that will lead you to the entrance a few miles up the road.
Please note that you'll find the name spelled as both Wekiwa and Wekiva however the proper pronunciation has the 'v' sound.
