View Full Version : I'm leaving in the morning....................
............for WDW! :D I'm meeting my mom down there and we're spending nice, warm week at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. I'm actually almost ready to go-this is really scary. I have a couple of errands to run (film to buy), last minute bookkeeping to do, and of course the last minute packing and I'm all set. Yikes! I probably forgot something really important!! I'll miss you all! :D
***I've already packed my glasses, so I won't forget those again!*** Don't want to do that again!

WOW! That's great Barb. From Disneyland to Walt Disney World...have a wonderful time.
Don't forget to ask your mom to ask for a spoon and catsup at the Wilderness Lodge Whispering CanyonCafe...hahaha.
Thanks to remember to do with your mother:
1. Take those special "angel" glasses to watch the fireworks.
2. Time your visit next to the WL main pool to watch the hourly "guyser" shoot into the air and the nightly "Electrical Water Pagent".
3. Don't forget to print out this link for times, etc.:
http://www.themeparks.com/wdw/calendar/mar.htm
4. The Magic Kingdom's parade, "Spectromagic" and fireworks, "Fantasy in the Sky" is only going to show Saturday and Sunday. So don't miss those and get a good place to watch.
5. If you want to eat at the Contemporary Resort's California Grille on Saturday or Sunday and see the Sun set over Walt Disney World at about 6:50 P.M., then a nice dinner, then watch and hear the "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks at 8:00 P.M. from yoyr table. Call for reservations for 6:30 P.M. now. Get there a little early and persistantly plead for the window seat facing Magic Kingdom to specifically watch the fireworks, Fantasy in the Sky".
6. Maybe an upper level seat in France's Restaurant to watch the Illuminations and have a nice dinner next to the window facing the lake.
I am very excited for you.
Sincerely, Ray :)
Oh, Marsha, I wish you all were going with me, too. Wouldn't that be wonderful?! :D :D :D
Sandra, these trips make up for your very looooooooong trip in December. ;) ;) I have to do this to catch up to you and Livia! :D :D
Ray, are you a sweetheart? Thanks for all the tips and for the link. I love that you have all these wonderful ideas to make WDW even more magical. :) Thanks so much, buddy! :) :) :)
Aloha, Tia! Just think, in just a little while, it'll be you and your family heading to WDW! We really have to work on our timing! ;) :D
