I was wondering about how sometimes I get stressed. What do you do to relieve it? At home, I usually listen to music or read a book. At school, I just take a deep breath. My parents wonder why I listen to music as often as I do. It's because of that's what I do to relieve all of my stress. I have to listen to music while I do my homework. If I don't, then I get overwhelmed. My sister was telling me about how that can't be good for you and how it messes up my concentration. How does she know?

i talk to my friends. for whatever reason, i cant feel stressed surrounded by them. when im grounded or cut off from them in any way, i do my best to meditate (i know it sounds stupid, but im pretty good at it). another one of my tricks im a little less proud of is taking a pen and stabbing a paper with it, pressing really hard and scribbling, or shredding the paper with the pen tip. thats only rarely when i completely lose control, though. i dont know why, but it helps me to go into a harmless little rage sometimes :]

At school:
Scream in my mind.
If we are watching a movie or something I'll lay my head on my arms on my desk and close my eyes.
Read.
Home:
Popcorn, Soda, Movie. =D In my room, shut the door, turn the lights off.
Music.
Read.
Write.
Sleep.
Shower.

i just remembered: baths help, too, but only if theyre heavily scented, and nearly scalding hot. i dont know why, but when im stressed, i get a lot of anger. journaling also helps

In school i just sign out to go get a drink of water and deep breathe.
At home i blast my music, read, or watch a movie.

Home - music and reading Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse. But mostly Twilight and Eclipse 'cause New Moon's too depressing. I don't like Jacob.
School - If it's during group work, I yell at everyone in my group. I make them let me do the whole thing because I know I'll do it right. Group work is the only time I can be.... bossy....
After individual work and lunch, we have personal reflection. It's soooo nice, you can just read, draw, journal or sleep. They play relaxing music and don't let you talk to anyone. I love it. I shall seriously miss it next year, because I don't plan on taking a study hall. Personal reflection pwns my soul... very relaxing.

Hmm...
If I'm angry I go to my room, shut the door, turn the light off and go "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" pretty silently.
If I'm stressed, I go take a really really hot shower and stay in there for a long time. Then I watch TV (one of my favorite shows) and empty my mind. I won't answer the phone either, or get on the computer. I just sit, and silently watch TV.
If I am sad, or depressed. I don't know, probably just empty my mind and watch TV. Or read.
