Does anyone have the phone number. We stayed in the AKL concierge right after it opened and some things got mixed up. I didn't bother getting their phone number because I didn't expect to stay there again, but we're going to give it another shot in August so the kids can get a chance to check out the lodge. I want to make sure I can call them directly so there are no mix-ups this time.

If you're uncomfortable with posting the number, please send it to me in email or pm. Thanks. :)

Do you mind telling us what the mix ups were?

Well, they never got in touch with us before hand. I finally got in touch with Don through email. He answered back and said he'd be sending me more information later, but never did. Then when we got there, they said that they didn't have my email address or phone number. I know they had my email address at one time and they should have gotten my phone number from the reservation.

We specifically requested a Savannah view room and they tried to put us in a pool view. There were plenty of Savannah rooms available and one was ready as soon as we said we didn't want to stay in a pool view room, but they didn't even have a record of our request.

We were celebrating a special anniversary and had it noted on our reservation and they never even said a word.

They were just very unorganized, but I realized that they were just beginning. Still, most of the CMs came from other concierges. I didn't know any better at the time, but the YC concierge has spoiled me and I'm expecting better this time.

I just want to be able to get in touch with them to make sure everything runs smoothly because we're only staying there for one night so the kids can experience the lodge and go on the Sunrise Safari (they weren't with us the first time). We already have reservations for a BWV, but then my kids mentioned that they'd like to see the lodge so we're tacking on an extra day at the beginning of our vacation.
