After 3 trips last year to DW we are (not sure if I can say this.....:eek: ) Disney'd out for a bit. Plus the minor fact that our DVC points are borrowed up the ying yang!! :lmao: :rolleyes:

This year's trips though are Cruise leaving from San Juan in March plus 3 days in San Juan and Cottage rental in Nova Scotia at the end of July. :banana: :cool1:

flying out to Ft.Lauderdale on March 3rd, staying with in laws for a few days then driving off (with my gps, lol) to Disney World and staying there the 8-10th before leaving on the 11th. Staying at the POP and have 3 character meals planned for 2 days and warned my 6 year old she better learn to not sleep, lol

Oh man, we just gave up a one-bedroom Savannah View unit at AKV for March 9 to 16th. We needed a two-bedroom unit as the in-laws decided they want to come. So back to our home resort, Saratoga.

I booked that AKV unit 7 months out - so disappointed that we don't get to stay there. The only saving grace is that SSR is cheaper on points than AKV.

Hey Digs sounds like we will be there around the same time as you next Oct we are staying in the wifes trailer at FW (blah). But atleast we are still going down the kids have no idea we are going so it should be good. The wife is then taking them the following July so they can all do the Sea World day camps it is from 9-5 Mon-Friday all snacks and lunches are provided it is only 329 bucks a kid they are all very excited about that one.

Can't wait for the trip! I am way more excited than my kids! It was a Christmas gift to them, but I only told them we were going to WDW - I didn't tell them about the cruise part! Trying to keep the magic alive, but I don't know if I can keep the secret that long!

Hello Everyone! I am new to the board, wish I had found it earlier when I was planning, I would have loved to have been able to get to know some of you prior to our trip! but I have still enjoyed reading much info. Anyway, our family is so excited tonight, tomorrow, Jan 13th at 6pm... less than 24 more hours, we are heading to the airport to pick up my DH who is coming home on his leave from Afghanistan. He has been on tour there for 5 1/2 months so far, and we are so excited to finally have him home for a visit!! We have a magical trip to WDW planned for Jan 15-24, staying at AKL. We are so excited, can't believe we fly in 3 days!! YIPEE. I am sad we will only have a short time with my husband before he heads back Feb 01, but we will all cherish the time we have together and our vacation as a family! We have 2 boys age 15 and 11, so this trip will be a blast for all of us.... perfect age to share everything and remember eveything Disney has to offer!!! Thanks for letting me share!

I booked a Disney vacation package with room and tickets at first. But then I realized I could get Disney theme park tickets at the Disney Store in Canadian dollars, so I changed our reservation to Room only at the Grand Floridian, garden view. Doing it this way means that I only have to pay for 1 night's stay with the remaining upon check out. With the package I had to pay in FULL at 45 days prior to departure.

We rented a villa from March 8 -18 and the SSR from 18 - 21. We have booked the PPP for March 11. When we get back I am taking DD to see Disney on Ice, Princesses, like 2 weeks worth of Disney isn't enough LOL. Wow that's amazing. My child's day camp in Burlington is almost $200/week and we have to provide the snacks, drinks and lunches!!! Hopefully we'll be able to that one day too!!:banana:
